This Beer Stein features hand painted deep relief of the German "Coat of Arms". The side panels feature reliefs of famous landmarks in the cities of "Frankfurt", Berlin", "Koeln", "Munich", "Rothenburg" and "Heidelberg". The Coat of Arms are framed by banners with rich ornamental inscription of the national anthem verse "Einigkeit und Recht und Freiheit". The beer stein is issued as a hand-numbered Limited Edition with a 10,000 piece issue limit.The stein is topped an ornate, hand attached 100% lead free pewter lid. This beer stein holds 0.5 Liter (approx. 17oz), is approx. 10.5" tall and is hand-painted with a ceramic glaze in richly colored schema on blue and beige base color. Glaze is applied using multiple firing processes where the stein is fired for each individual color, creating a glass-like smooth and colored surface. This German Beer Stein is 100% food safe and can be used to consume beverages. Due to the thick and high quality material, the stein can be placed in the freezer prior to usage and will keep your beverages cool for a long time. Authentic German Beer Mug, produced by King-Werke in Germany. Christmas gift for grandson.Seems to be a great item. Will know when he opens s it.I bought this beer Stein as a Christmas present for my husband. He absolutely loves it!The stein was nice. I just wonder why the price?My wife just gave me this for my birthday. Its beautiful and amazing. Looking at reviews- well the price is because its incredible. defects- its hand painted by humans, a little spot in the wrong area, well I couldn't do better and neither could you :-) if they come broken- that's because your delivery person was a jerk. Mine was paper wrapped, boxed, and bubble wrapped. it took a stupid amount of time to get to the stein. If you got an issue with these, you don't deserve nice things.
