I purchased both the 5 gallon and 2.5/3gallon sizes. Found the build quality to be very good. (even better than I expected based on the online photos.) I used them the first time in conjunction with a jockey box but typically will plan to use them with picnic taps and mini regulators for tailgating. (but using with a standard CO2 regulator and manifold works well also due to the zippered access thru the lid.)The ice wraps are certainly a useful convenience but I also have no worries if I have to just dump in some ice as well sometimes.Had one question initially, so I reached out to the company and got a very quick & helpful response. Definitely would recommend if you are considering something like this to take your kegs on the go.We sell kombucha on tap at the farmer’s market and the weather temp was close to 100 degrees. We had 4 kegs in individual coolers with the ice sheets around them under a table in the heat. 6 hours later the sheets we melted but the kegs were cool and the kombucha was still cold. The straps and zippers performed perfectly. We highly recommend this product.I wish it was water proof to keep ice inside it. But a great item for what was needed. The ice packs are cool but don’t stay frozen long.Every year we throw a summer party for my karate group on our porch. A 1/6 keg of local beer is always a big hit. In earlier years I would have to rush down to the liquor store just before the party started, get the keg and 6 bags of ice, find a container for ice and keg, cover it with a table cloth to hide its many flaws and then hope the ice did not run out before the keg was emptied. This year I picked up the keg the night before the party, dropped it into the cooler bundle with the frozen ice sheet, zipped it up and slept like a baby. No keg worries. The next day the keg was still cold. I refroze the ice sheet, replaced it, added a little ice and snapped in the tap. The keg, it contents and my friends enjoyed one another to the very last drop. The following day I removed the keg (much lighter at this point) hosed out the container, dried the ice sheet, rolled them up and put them away for the next party.The carrying strap broke on the very first use of this product. This is arguably the most important part of this product - otherwise we could just purchase a $10 bucket. It seems even through the supposed upgrades of this product to address this, they still can't get it right. The reviews addressing the strap are 100% accurate.They have a v2 out - so go check that out, it solves some of these problems. It does certainly insulate the kegs, however as others mentioned the straps don't stay at their set length, making them useless. Even if they did, one side of the straps needs to connect further down on the cooler so you can strap it across you. Instead, it's just awkwardly hanging at your side and still very difficult to carry. If you try carrying it without the strap but with a full keg in it, it's pretty awkward. As a cooler it works well. The ice pack it comes with works but is pretty insufficient unless you're only needing it for a couple hours. There's room for maybe 4 of them - go buy more, or just stuff a bag's worth of ice into the cooler, either works.Amazing product! After testing it, it stood up very well! Started with a 5 gallon keg with water at 42 degrees. Placed the keg in the bag on top of a small layer of ice. Wrapped two ice blankets around the keg, and zipped the bag up. Heated my closet with a space heater raising the temperature to 88 degrees. Over the course of 7 hours, the temperature of the water lowered to 37 degrees. And ice was still solid in the bag. Outstanding product!Really enjoy this product. I was wary of some of the previous comments about the straps, etc., and I think the manufacturer made some adjustments. It was a great size, corny keg slid right in without being cumbersome. Flat bottom insert helps to keep shape. Fantastic zippered middle up top allows for compressor and dispenser to poke through without opening whole top. Ice sheet froze quickly and was very flexible when frozen, lasted 24 hours. Best of all, the strap seems sturdier, and held weight fine when I lugged a 3/4 full corny around, no slip. Was the talk of our Easter family BBQ. Very pleased.
